To enhance the visibility of our university in Hunan Province and attract more high-quality students, our university participated in the 16th Hunan Education Expo cum 2025 National Colleges and Universities Enrollment Consultation in Hunan (hereinafter referred to as the "Hunan Education Expo") hosted by Zhongnan International Exhibition. The event was held at the Red Star International Convention and Exhibition Center in Changsha, Hunan, from June 26 to 27, 2025. This consultation meeting has built a platform for direct communication between our university and Hunan candidates as well as their parents.
This enrollment consultation meeting gathered nearly 600 institutions, with a lively atmosphere on site. Our university's enrollment team consisted of 2 teachers who are familiar with the enrollment policies and the university's situation. At the consultation venue, they promoted information about our university, such as its school-running characteristics, teaching achievements, scientific research level, and colorful campus life, to candidates and parents through various means, including distributing promotional materials, browsing the university's official website, watching the university's promotional videos, and conducting verbal promotions. Meanwhile, taking advantage of the gaps between consultation sessions, they walked around other areas of the venue to carry out promotional activities, actively communicating and interacting with more potential candidates and parents, further increasing the university's exposure and influence. Through in-depth communication with candidates and parents, their understanding and knowledge of our university have been greatly enhanced, laying a solid foundation for our university's enrollment work in Hunan Province.
The interpretation of enrollment policies was one of the key contents of this consultation meeting. The staff elaborated on key information such as the university's enrollment plan, admission rules, bonus point policies, and major transfer policies, ensuring that candidates and their parents could clearly and accurately understand the application requirements and procedures. Targeting the interests and academic strengths of different candidates, they focused on introducing the development prospects, curriculum settings, faculty, and employment directions of the university's advantageous majors, characteristic majors, and emerging majors. Through simple and in-depth explanations and case analyses, candidates and parents deeply recognized the rationality and forward-looking nature of the university's major settings, which enhanced their recognition of the university's majors and their willingness to apply.
In addition, during the event, our staff engaged in exchanges and interactions with enrollment personnel from many other colleges and universities. We shared experiences and insights in enrollment publicity, discussed enrollment issues of common concern and industry development trends, enhanced mutual understanding and friendship, and laid the foundation for carrying out intercollegiate cooperation and exchanges in the future.
During the two-day consultation meeting, our university's booth received over several hundred visits from candidates and parents from various parts of Hunan Province, and distributed more than one hundred copies of promotional materials. The goals expected in terms of promoting the university, attracting students, collecting information, and exchanging for cooperation were all achieved.
