On June 25, the award ceremony of the "2025 Shanghai Green Packaging Innovation and Creative Design Competition cum College Works Exhibition of Fashion Consumer Goods Packaging Design", sponsored by the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Students from the School of Art and Design of our university achieved excellent results in this competition: among the three exhibited works, one won the gold award and two won the silver awards. Chen Ling received the Excellent Instructor Award.

The competition attracted the participation of teachers and students from 15 universities in the Yangtze River Delta. With diverse types, rich connotations and innovative concepts, the works comprehensively and multi-dimensionally showcased the new concepts, new product forms and new technological trends in green packaging design in recent years. They conveyed social responsibility through environmentally friendly materials and deconstructed and reshaped visual language with creativity. A special "Design Bay" exhibition area was set up at the National Exhibition and Convention Center to display students' award-winning works, aiming to create a new on-site activity model integrating "design work exhibition + academic forum exchange". This initiative provides more opportunities for outstanding creative design works to be exposed to the packaging industry and related product fields.

This competition not only provides a platform for design talents to showcase their abilities, but also builds a bridge for the dissemination and practice of green packaging design concepts. For our college, the event has promoted the integration of industry and education, helping students transform theoretical knowledge into practical capabilities. It has facilitated teaching through competitions and nurtured talents through industry collaboration, laying a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality interdisciplinary design talents who meet industry demands, and repaying society's expectations with solid educational outcomes.
