On July 22, Gao Zhu, Dean of the School of Art and Design, Liu Jiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and Chen Lu and Liu Wei, representatives of young teachers, visited and exchanged ideas with the Songjiang District Economic Commission. Li Lei, Director of the Songjiang District Economic Commission, Liu Yong, Deputy Director, and Xu Zhishan from the Service Industry Promotion Section received the delegation from the school.

Gao Zhu exchanged views with the Songjiang District Economic Commission on issues such as enhancing the reputation of Songjiang's industrial design, building a highland for industrial design innovation, and empowering the high-quality development of manufacturing. The two sides focused on discussing the activity plan for the Songjiang Branch Venue of the 2025 World Design Capital Conference and the 2025 Songjiang Design Week, and reached a consensus.

Li Lei introduced the work of promoting industrial ecosystem cultivation through the "2+7" modern industrial system and empowering high-quality industrial development through the Songjiang creative design matrix, based on the functional positioning of Songjiang as "four districts". He focused on exchanging ideas on the vision of building a creative design ecosystem around the Songjiang University Town and the work plan for the leapfrog development of the creative and industrial design industry in 2025.

Liu Yong and Liu Jiang exchanged views on the specific implementation details of the 2025 Songjiang Design Week. After the meeting, both sides also conducted an on-site inspection of the venues related to the activities.
